Mendocino Stories and Music Series Music welcomes in the May, with Holly Tannen and Amelia Hogan on Friday, May 4. Music and storytelling starts at 7:30PM at the Mendocino Hotel.

Amelia Hogan is a compelling and authentic Irish sean nos (old style) singer. She'll sing Irish sean nos (old style) songs in Irish and English. Holly and Amelia together will debut Holly's new songs, The Flower of Australia and The Battle Hymn of the International Subversives.

Holly Tannen sings to centuries-old melodies, and then you notice she's singing about the Internet, or Beavis and Butthead, or northern California marijuana growers. She also knows just when and how to aim for the heart with something more serious
