Mendocino Stories and Music Series "The Riptides Dance Party" February 11, 2011

Mendocino Stories & Music Series, in cooperation with The Coast, proudly presentsThe Riptides, three outstanding, celebrated musicians. So put on your dancing shoes and come on out to the Dance Party on Friday, February 11. Music starts at 9:00PM at the Hill House Inn.

The Riptides - Roger Fritz on guitar and vocals, David Hayes on bass and vocals and James Preston on drums and vocals - are one of the most formidable rhythm sections in Northern California. Their tight, danceable sound is a modern take on vintage top 40, soul and R&B hits plus a few originals and lots of vocal harmonies. The individual members have played with Van Morrison, The Sons of Champlin, Jesse Colin Young, Sheryl Crow, Moby Grape and many, many more.
