Mendocino Stories and Music Series presents “ The Mixed Nuts” on Saturday, April 21 at the Hill House of Mendocino. The band plays an unexpected collection of swing, Latin, and jazz tunes from the 40's to the present. With songs ranging from the works of Hoagie Carmichael to Lou Reed and Mongo Jerry, the emphasis is on a seriously fun time. The music will start at 7:30PM.
This musical project was originally the brainchild of Dan Albrecht who, in this group, plays piano and sings. He is joined by Steve Paul on trumpet, vocals, steel pan and banjo; Paul Schulman on congas; Daney Dawson on acoustic upright bass; and Chad Swimmer on drums and percussion.
All Ages Welcome! Doors open at 6:30 PM for bistro menu and drinks. Call Pattie at 937-1732 or http://www.mendocinostories.com/events.html
