Mendocino Stories and Music Series presents Singer/Songwriters-in-a-row on Saturday, October 6. Featured musicians are Denny Lunsford, Sue Sisk, Steven Bates and Gwyneth Moreland. Each will play original tunes, taking turns in the row. Music starts at 7:30PM at the Hill House Inn.
Denny Lunsford is the lead guitar player with The Gatecrashers. His solo CD, Moonflowers, was released in 2003. Sue Sisk could always sing the blues. Her original music is also influenced by gospel, jazz and rock ‘n’ roll, from moving ballads to jump up blues boogies.
One of the coast’s most active musicians and Fort Bragg native, Steven Bates started playing music at school dances by age 13. Gwyneth Moreland grew up in a household with no TV, CD player or junk food. That lifestyle resulted in a young woman who values the simple things in life and reflects it in her music.
All Ages Welcome! Doors open at 6:30 PM for dinner menu and full bar. Reserve a table in advance at $15 per person. $15 - $12 at the door. Call Pattie at 937-1732 or www.mendocinostories.com/events.html.
