Mendocino Stories and Music Series "Mixed Nuts"" November 20, 2010

The Series presents “Mixed Nuts” a band that plays an unexpected collection of swing, Latin, jazz tunes from the 40's to the present. With songs ranging from the works of Hoagie Carmichal to Lou Reed and Mongo Jerry, the emphasis is on a seriously goofy time.

This musical project was originally the brainchild of Dan Albrecht who, in this group, plays piano and sings. He is joined by Steve Paul on trumpet, vocals, steel pan and banjo; Paul Schulman on congas; Daney Dawson on acoustic upright bass; and Chad Swimmer on drums and percussion.
