Mendocino Stories and Music Series "Gwyneth & Monko" June 15, 2012

Gwyneth Moreland and Michael Monko will perform for the Mendocino Stories & Music Series on Friday, June 15 at the Mendocino Hotel. In this combination of Gwyneth's "tangible gentleness" and Monko's old-timey grunge, she sings like an angel and he plays like the devil. Music starts at 7:30PM

Monko said the first time he heard Gwyneth sing, he knew she was special. “I could only dream of playing with such talent.” Rooted deep in the American Tradition, their musical style is built on a foundation of old-time blues, pop, and true American country. “This is music which is at once modern and original, while paying proper respect to the classics of the genre ... if you like Americana folk and Indie music you won’t be disappointed.” — Hear!Hear!
