Mendocino Stories and Music Series "Dgiin" December 30, 2011

To get revved up for New Year’s Eve or to escape the frenzy of the Eve, Mendocino Stories and Music Series will present Dgiin on Friday, December 30. Dgiin (pronounced Gin) is a 4-piece band, mixing musical styles from funk to Latin and reggae with unforgettable vocals. Music starts at 8:30PM at the Hill House of Mendocino.

Named "Best World Band" by the North Bay Bohemian, Dgiin has been creating quite a stir with their memorable and energetic performances. The band is an exciting mixture of French-Gypsy-Funk, ranging from flamenco to Django Reinhardt gypsy guitar with Tito Puente style salsa beats. Dgiin's members are as diverse as their music and hail from France, El Salvador and Ohio.
