Memphis Symphony Orchestra Masterworks Series: "Rachmaninoff Festival" October 22, 2005

Saturday, October 22, 2005 at 8pm. Memphis welcomes the International Rachmaninoff Society's conference, showcasing the works of one of Russia's most prominent composers. Garrick Ohlsson performs Rachmaninoff's vertuoso masterwork for piano with the D minor Concerto's sumptuous themes, and the orchestra presents Rachmaninoff's Vocalise. Conducted by David Loebel.
