Memphis Symphony Orchestra Masterworks Series: "Majestic Harp" March 18, 2006

One of the world's foremost harpists, Yolanda Kondonasis, delivers electrifying Latin flavor with Ginastera's concerto, exhibiting the vibrant sounds of indigenous Argentine music. Explore one of the greatest ballets out of Paris, Daphnis et Chloe, with the beauty and orginality of Ravel's two concert suites extracted from the full score, as well as Faure's interpretation of Maurice Maeterlinck's symbolist play of forbidden love.
