Member's 16th Annual Holiday Lighting Ceremony November 24, 2009

Join us for this members-only tradition to kick off the holiday season. Clock tower doors open at 5:30pm, and the festivities commence at 6pm as Santa makes his grand entrance into Henry Ford Museum to light the towering Christmas tree. After Santas arrival, holiday fun continues with plenty of seasonal activities until 9pm. What to bring, What to wear: The exhibits of the Henry Ford Museum are spread across several acres; all indoors. Comfortable clothing and comfortable walking shoes are recommended. Wheelchairs and electric scooters are available to rent for a fee at the IMAX and Clock tower entrances. Electric scooter supplies are limited, please arrive early if you plan to rent one. You are welcome to bring your own wheelchairs, electric scooters and children's strollers-- however, upright electric scooters (Segways) are not allowed on premises. Bring a camera, photography is allowed in most areas of the Museum. Special: Tickets are available through The Henry Ford Call Center (open 7 days a week, 9am - 5pm) 313-982-6001, and at all admission counters. Tickets can be mailed when reservations are made 2 weeks or more in advance. Tickets purchased less than 2 weeks out will be held at the Museum Clock Tower Will Call the day of the event.
