Meijer Presents Cooking with Chicago Cubs Pitcher Andrew Cashner August 20, 2010

Calling all Chicago Cubs Fans! Andrew Cashner, pitcher for the Cubs, will be stepping out of the bullpen and into the kitchen as he prepares his culinary creation, Grandma Pat’s Meatballs with a Healthy Twist, courtesy of the Chicago Cubs Cookbook (available at all Chicago Meijer locations on August 15th). On Friday, August 20, 2010, Cashner is sure to bring some heat into the kitchen as he does on the mound while he creates this signature dish for the crowd at Meijer’s newest location in Orland Park, IL. Accompanying Cashner will be Meijer Healthy Living Advisor Kristen Johnson. Andrew Cashner will cook up a storm from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. and sign autographs from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Orland Park store, located at 15701 71st Court (corner of Harlem and 157th Avenue). The first 200 people to arrive starting at 5 p.m. at the Orland Park store will receive a wristband that ensures an autograph from Andrew Cashner.
