Mega Line Dance- Singapore Arts Festival Closing 2010 June 13, 2010

JOIN IN THE FIRST MEGA LINE DANCE IN SINGAPORE

For the first time in Singapore, a Mega Line Dance will be held as the wrap up event for the Singapore Arts Festival. Part of the festival’s charter to bring art closer to the community, to make the Festival a people’s festival, the Mega Line Dance is a wonderful opportunity for families to enjoy a picnic together and then participate in a huge dance event. Old or young, skilled or not, all are welcome to attend. The event will be held in two locations, at the Central Promontory (country music theme) and the Marina Barrage (other music) on Sunday 13 June 2010, from 6pm – 9pm. Over 1200 dancers have already signed up to take part, so don’t miss your chance to learn something new and become part of the act. If you are shy, just sway to the music. Those who come early will enjoy a lucky draw.

When:
• Sunday 13 June 2010, from 6pm – 9pm
How to get there:
• Central Promontory at Raffles Quay, near the NTUC Building. For people who wish to line dance to Country Music. Go to Raffles Place MRT, exit J.
• Marina Barrage: For people who wish to line dance to music other than country. Shuttle buses are available from Marina and Tanjong Pagar MRT stations.
