New in town? Than please join MEETinLA at one of our monthly new member events. Whether it's for dinner, coffee, drinks or even ice cream, this will be a great chance for you to meet other members as well as some of the Event Planners who are hosting the many events currently on the calendar. Don't be shy! We'd love to meet you and have you meet us! :) This month's new member event will be at the The Redwood Bar & Grill!

What is the ideal booty for a pirate? Food and drink of course. The Redwood Bar & Grill in Downtown seems to adhere strongly to this theory. The newly re-opened theme eatery and 'drinkery' is filled with décor that's fit for a pirate. Its food menu consists of brigand favorites like fish and chips, as well as pub classics such as its own signature Redwood Burger (which has been voted as Downtown LA's best burger), and deli delights like the Ruben sandwich.

Once a watering hole for local journalists as well as John F. Kennedy (who is reputed to have gone there), the venue has expanded into a proper restaurant thanks to Jason Michaud, of Cobras & Matadors fame. So, eat, drink and be merry and say 'ahoy Shrimp po' boy' (one of the grill's popular entrees).
