Don't miss ODC's 41st home season at Yerba Buena Center for the Arts. This year features three world premieres from Brenda Way and KT Nelson- Breathing Underwater, Transit and Cut-Out Guy- as well as repertory favorites Raking Light, I look vacantly at the Pacific...though regret, and Part of a Longer Story. Breathing Underwater features a score by avant-cellist Zoe Keating who will play live alongside members of the Magik*Magik Orchestra, and Transit features imaginative prop pieces by The Crucible's bicycle artist Max Chen. As always, there will be many exciting and engaging ways to interact with the art and connect with fellow dance enthusiasts, including the lovely Opening Night Gala, festive Meet the Dancers Party and Get Smart talks with the choreographers.
On Friday, March 23, all audience members are invited to this post-performance party. Enjoy free drinks, desserts, and music in the Terrace Lobby as we toast ODC dancers, designers, and choreographers.
