October marks the 45th anniversary of the completion of the Gateway Arch. During a celebration event, visitors will have an oppurtunity to "Meet the Builders" and here from them of the construction of the tallest national monument in the United States. The builders, who were the most skilled in their trade in the 1960s, will share their private memorabilla and photos of their incredible experience. Kids can learn more about construction of the Gateway Arch at the activity area that includes puzzles, coloring pages, and tabletop and floor interactive arch building blocks. Birthday cake will be available for visitors in the Levee Mercantile while supplies last. In addition, discounts will be offered on commemorative items in the Museum Store and Levee Mercantile.
