Two-term State Representative and Ass't Minority Whip Lance Mason (D) is running against former Euclid mayor and one-time Cleveland mayoral candidate David Lynch (R) for the 25th Ohio Senate District seat of term limited State Sen. Eric Fingerhut.
Mason won re-election in the 8th Ohio House District in 2004 after having been appointed to replace current County Commissioner Peter Lawson Jones in 2002. He previously served as District Director for Congresswoman Stephanie Tubbs Jones (D), and before that was an Assistant County Prosecutor.
He has been a trial lawyer in private practice for ten years and is presently of counsel to Baker & Hostetler LLP.
