Meet the Author: Francesca Duranti at the Istituto February 18, 2009

Italian author Francesca Duranti will present her most recent book Come quando fuori piove (Like When It Rains, Marsilio, 2006) and her celebrated novel La casa sul lago della luna (The House on Moon Lake) at the Istituto.

Maria Francesca Rossi - aka Francesca Duranti - published many novels and won prestigious book prizes in Italy and abroad. Her books were translated in eighteen countries, including the US and the UK.

Barbara Carle, Ph.D at Columbia University and Associate Professor of Italian at California State University, Sacramento, will be introducing the author.
The lecture will be given in English.
