Meet the Artist: Barbara Wolff November 8, 2007

The work of New York artist Barbara Wolff will be on view in MOBIA's Education Center during 'The Art of Forgiveness' exhibition. Wolff's jewellike miniatures, created using medieval and Renaissance materials and techniques, take their inspiration from the Book of Psalms. They reflect the themes of responsibility and repentance found in the parable of the Prodigal Son as expressed by our relationship to the natural world. Wolff will discuss her work and screen a film in which she demonstrates her use of medieval techniques.
