• See the historic Oscar that Bette Davis won for her performance in “Jezebel” (1938). Davis' Oscar was purchased at auction by an anonymous buyer for $578,000 in 2001 and returned to the Academy. The anonymous buyer was later revealed to be Oscar winner Steven Spielberg. This is one of three Oscars purchased by Spielberg and returned to the Academy.
