Meet in Portland mingler

Every month MiPL has a "Mingler" evening which is just for hanging out at a bar, meeting new members and other MiPL friends. This is very relaxed, friendly and informal - so just come along for a drink or two and meet new people!

If this is your first MiPL event, feel free to come and look for me or any of the Welcome Wagon members when you arrive. We'll be looking out for new faces too.

For this month's Mingler, since it's summer, we're heading outdoors! We'll be at Jax rooftop bar, right in the middle of downtown Portland. You can enter on SW Yamhill or (easier if you don't know where you're going) by walking through the downstairs Jax bar on SW 2nd Ave. Head upstairs to the roof, and you'll find us there. Look for green and white 'MiPL' signs.

Food and (of course) drinks are available upstairs from 5-10pm; full menu, full bar. If you're still going at 10pm, you have to pay up and move downstairs to the other bar. There's no Happy Hour upstairs, but when you're chatting with friendly people in the sunshine and admiring the view, who cares?
