Meet HK movie stars

Daniel Wu, Conroy Chan, Andrew Lin, and Terence Yin, who appear as the boy band “Alive” in Daniel Wu's new film THE HEAVENLY KINGS, will be in attendance on Friday, April 27 at the Castro Theatre for the North American premiere. Daniel Wu won the Best New Director Award at the Hong Kong Film Awards April 2007. The film traces the boy band “Alive” and its rise to fame in Hong Kong’s competitive CantoPop industry, seamlessly combining actual behind-the-scenes footage of Wu's band with some hilarious dramatized passages featuring lively animated sequences, young energetic music and extremely candid interviews of top Canto-pop singers.
