Meet Authors Brocton Lockwood and Gary DeNeal September 15, 2011

The authors will talk about their book Shades of Gray about the 1922 Herrin Massacre, with particular attention to the trial of members of the United Mine Workers of America who were acquitted of killing 19 strike breakers and two union men. The book’s editor, retired Judge David Nelson, will also be in attendance.
