Running a marathon -- or the resolve to climb a mountain or any other herculean physical achievement -- requires inspiration. You first need the determination to muster up courage, strength and focus to experience the uplifting of the spirit.
And, then, there is a different kind of marathon that we can run -- the Inner Marathon -- to fathom the depth of our spirit! It simply requires the effortless intention to "be" to then experience the inner strength, focus, peace and joy of our very Being. You will not be left behind in this race. Meditating as a group, you soak into the collective consciousness of the sangha, feeling both elevated and deeply rested.
Meditation is the lifeline for the body, energy for the mind, refinement of the nervous system and the very food for the soul!
The event will be a wholesome meditative experience comprising of the following:
Yoga asanas
Initial Meditation
Introduction to what is meditation
Discussion, Q&A
Concluding meditation
Event timing: from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm
No prior experience is necessary to attend.
