Gallery 1044 launches MECHANICAL VOYAGES.

A Night of Exploration: Opening Reception, Friday January 6, 2012, 7:00-10:00 p.m.

Gallery 1044 assembles five artists to create MECHANICAL VOYAGES, A Night of Exploration. Each artist has produced work specifically for this show that interprets themes of robotic beings that live in far off worlds or hidden in plain sight in San Francisco. The energetic and eclectic show features art represented in various mediums: fascinating and wondrous assemblages of found objects that have been given new life and form; cool and stylish three dimensional wood cut outs; intricate and delicate paper constructions; fanciful and fun paintings and eccentric and fashionable digital art. Opening Reception Friday January 6, 2012 7:00-10:00 p.m. 1044 Larkin Street, San Francisco. Group Show runs Friday, January 6, 2012 through January 26 2012.
