Grunge-rock princes the Meat Puppets are back and touring behind a new album, 'Sewn Together.' The Meat Puppets formed in January 1980, in Paradise Valley, Arizona. The current lineup features Curt Kirkwood, Ted Marcus and Cris Kirkwood. Championed by Nirvanna's Kurt Cobain for its groundbreaking punk-country sound, the Meat Puppets were most popular in the mid-1990s, after a guest appearance on Nirvana's 1993 MTV "Unplugged" performance and the release of the album 'Too High to Die' the following year.
