Me Facing Life: Cyntoia's Story February 15, 2011

This film tells the story of Cyntoia Brown. She was a 16-year-old making bad decisions in her life which led her to killing a man who had picked her up for sex. She was sentenced to Life in a Tennessee prison meaning, in her case, she will serve a minimum of 51 years. This film challenges our assumptions about violence and explores how factors such as biology and family history can doom some young people from the start.
