Me and My Character

This exhibition investigates the emotional bond people have with their favorite nonliving beings. In researching designer toys and character design, we found a hidden world where creators, users, professionals and amateurs come together, united by their attraction to these creatures. Our favourite characters become alter egos or adopted children. They are metaphors for a world in which we don't need to grow up: an adult world full of love, joy, play and imagination.
