Yoshi's is proud to present the 12th Annual McCoy Tyner Two-Week Residency! One of the greatest pianists in jazz history, McCoy Tyner, leads two different groups over two weeks assembled exclusively for Yoshi's by Artistic Director Peter Williams. Tyner is one of the most commanding and influential pianists of all time and most well known for his work with the seminal John Coltrane Quartet of the 60s. Week One features McCoy in a quartet setting with bassist Dave Holland, saxophonist Joe Lovano and drummer Lewis Nash. Week Two features a truly special line-up with vibraphonist Bobby Hutcherson, saxophonist Ravi Coltrane, bassist Charnett Moffett and drummer Eric Harland.
