Two of the most spirited groups around come together for this adventure into the heartbeat of hypnotic rhythm. First, jazz, funk, soul, and hip-hop take center stage with the exploding sounds of the Hypnotic Brass Ensemble, the Chicago-based group that includes seven sons of Phil Cohran, the revered jazz trumpeter. Then Harlem's own "Thunderbirds", the country's premiere "shout band," takes over in a performance of sheer exuberance that is certain to leave the audience on its feet shouting for more.
