McClendon School of Dance "This Is The Story" December 18, 2009

The McClendon School of Dance (MSD) is presenting its annual holiday production “This Is the Story," one of Atlanta’s most popular holiday productions for nearly a decade.

“This Is the Story” showcases McClendon’s talent (ages 3 to adult) in the areas of classical ballet, jazz, tap, praise and worship, and hip-hop dance along with some of the city’s most innovative performers to chronicle the ‘reason of the season’ through dance, live music, and spoken word interludes.

The production will feature alternative/experimental music sensation KimberlyNichole, whose song "Can't Get Enough" is featured in the film Three Can Play That Game starring Vivica A. Foxx. KimberlyNichole recently independently released her debut project “The Yellow Brick Journey,” an album heavily influenced by the alternative/rock/grunge music of her hometown Seattle, Wash., and by the soul music that dominated her household as a child.
