Awards for Excellence in an Artistic Discipline, Outstanding Emerging Artist, Excellence in Service to the Arts, Outstanding Contribution to Arts Education and Innovation in the Arts. Two special awards are also given annually to individuals or organizations who have lasting contributions to Washington?s cultural life.
