May Hitch Hike - Hitchcock Nature Area May 15, 2007

Hitchcock Nature Center- Begins a five part series of nature hikes designed to introduce visitors to Hitchcock Nature Center as well as the Loess Hills. Join us for the first hike of the series as we hike out along a Loess Hills ridgetop through scenic prairie to reach our destination- McIntosh Pioneer Cemetery, founded in 1874. See the spring wildflowers of the prairie including the blue-eyed grass, puccoons and locoweed. Cost: $2.00 per person and includes on-trail refreshments.
