May Beer Tasting - Bocks, Belgian Trappist May 11, 2006

Bock Beers are brewed in Germany to mark the passage from winter into spring. These beers are smooth, and malty, with a refreshing lager crispness despite their higher alcohol content. Come and celebrate Spring in the German tradition - with a Bock Festival! The event will feature as many authentic lager bockbiers as we can find as well as weizen bocks. A beer to satisfy every palate plus an appetizer buffet, an event program with tasting notes for all featured beers, and a door prize drawing.
