Critic darlings, Maximo Park, will take the Amoeba stage September 15th, in support of their album, A Certain Trigger.

Maximo Park is a band of Northern English post-punkers that seem poised for bona-fide hugeness. They play fun, dancey pop songs, mostly about the near universal topic of not being able to get girls to fall in love with them. We at Amoeba are hoping they remain bookish and unlucky in love so they can keep writing little English bittersweet anthems.
