The Auditorium is proud to welcome Maxi Priest to Leicester,
Priest is one of the most recognisable international Reggae artistes there is, with numerous hits both here in the Uk and the US. He started his career in Lewisham, London with Saxon Sound, going on to world wide acclaim. Still touring year after year his 20 year reign remains strong.......

.......Supporting and most recognised by her world wide smash hit, You Don’t Love Me (No, No, No) The Auditorium welcomes back Dawn Penn- by public demand after her show stopping performance whilst supporting Lee Perry back in October.....

.....Musical Youth make their debut at The Auditorium, the Birmingham outfit shot to world wide fame in the 80's with "Pass The Dutchie" as well as songs such as "Youth of Today" and "Never Gonna Give You Up"......

.....Saxon Sound return to Leicester after 17 years.. Saxon started playing out as a party set back in 1976, playing at local parties and small functions in Lewisham, London. Maxi Priest started out with Saxon and throughout the years to follow Saxon became known as the Number One U.K Sound System. Having reached the pinnacle of their trade they are still revered as the Number 1 Sound system in the eyes and hearts of many.......

....Don Letts, The Rebel Dread (TBC) returns to The Auditorium to host and DJ the night. Don's reputation has been firmly established in both the film and music world, by a substantial body of work, from the late 70's through the 80's, 90's and well into the millennium. He came to notoriety in the late 70's as the DJ that single handedly turned a whole generation of punks onto reggae. It was whilst DJing at the first punk club 'The Roxy' in 1977, that Don adopted the punk D.I.Y ethic and began to make his first film 'The Punk Rock Movie'. Shot on Super-8mm, it is the only documentary on the U.K punk scene; featuring The Sex Pistols, The Clash and many others. This led to a period of directing over 300 music videos for a diverse range of artists, including Bob Marley, Elvis Costello and Beenie Man.....

.....Local suppport comes from Leicester's 6 peice band By The Rivers a fresh yet authentic Reggae outfit tipped to go all the way and everyones favourite The Versitile Daddy Fishead.....
