Matting and Framing Your Photographs Workshop June 27, 2009

This one day workshop for those who want to learn how to mat and frame your own photographs in order to complete the process. Matting and framing of your photographs are relatively easy to learn and give a sense of "completion" to prints. Students will learn both how different components of framing will work together and the skills and techniques for doing a proper job.

During the workshop, we will also cover different aesthetics choices from the color of the matt to how a print is placed in a frame as well as archival consideration for materials.

Students will bring two or three photographs of different sizes for the workshop. All the frames will be ordered in advance for the workshop, and a materials fee will be adjusted accordingly.
