Matthew Shipp String Trio March 2, 2007

Matthew Shipp first became known in the early '90s as the pianist in the David S. Ware Quartet. He soon began leading his own dates that included bassist William Parker and later violinist Matt Maneri, so it's no wonder that this trio grooves so well together.
