Guitarist Matt Richards is one of a few contemporary musical artists who effortlessly bridges musical styles while maintaining his personal identity. While many listeners are familiar with his genre-stretching fingerstyle acoustic work, others associate him with straight-ahead jazz played with both electric and fretless guitars. His trio, featuring Adrian Valosin on drums and Dave Kaczorowski on upright bass, is a highly interactive group.
