MATRIXFILLMORE and Octagon Football Host Ninth Annual NFL/NBA Celebrity Servers Benefit Event October 11, 2010

Join 49ers Takeo Spikes, Patrick Willis and Travis LaBoy, Oakland Raiders’ Lamarr Houston, and special guest server Stephen Curry of the Golden State Warriors to help raise money and awareness for cancer research.

The PlumpJack Group and Octagon Football will host a celebrity servers event to raise funds to benefit the John Ricksen Fund of the Children’s Hospital & Research Center Oakland.

Bay Area professional athletes serve guests from behind the bar while signing autographs and mingling with the crowd. Autographed footballs, tickets to games, special travel packages, and sports memorabilia will be available for live auction and raffle.

A portion of the proceeds from the drinks poured, 100% of any tips given to the celebrity servers, proceeds from the raffle and live auction, and any additional donations received during the event will directly benefit cancer patient treatment and research at Children’s Hospital & Research Center Oakland.
