GUT REACTING™
GUT REACTING™ is a unique technique styled to bring out the best performances in actors at every level and medium. Classes will focus on Trust, Connection and Communication. Students will use various tools and exercises to get "in the moment" quicker than ever. Linda Waymire's method ("whole actor concept") should be the foundation of any actor's or performer's training.
As with all of the classes we offer at Matlin Studio, it is fun and informative and offered in safe and nurturing environment. In addition, students will be guided to reach a deeper level of emotion within themselves, and a higher degree of connection with their scene partners.

On Camera Commercial Auditioning Technique
(Elayne Stein Method)
Session begins September 10th, 2009
Having been trained by Ms. Elayne Stein, Linda will continue the ever popular 'Acting for Commercials' classes which are taught in twelve-week sessions and only three times a year. In order to maximize the student-teacher interaction and to keep the learning experience spirited and lively, this class size is strictly limited and will not exceed seven students. Session timings have also been devised to help employed professionals. As part of this course, a final DVD of student's' work will be submitted to local agents for possible representation. Linda has been conducting professional acting classes for years in Glendale and Phoenix, Arizona, with workshops in California as well. She has been "groomed" by Ms. Stein to take over the commercial and auditon classes formerly taught by Elayne.

Class Sessions
Classes are held on Thursday evenings from 7.00 - 10.00 p.m. and on Saturday morning from 10.00 a.m. - 1.00 p.m. Each class gathers once a week for an intense session.

Tuition and Session Policy
Linda will be accepting tuition in the same manner as had been established by Elayne Stein. It's straight forward and easy to understand tuition policy. All students' sign up for a twelve-week program and tuition may be paid weekly, at the rate of $45.00 per week. A $90.00 deposit is required to hold your slot. This deposit will be applied to the last two weeks of the twelve-week program and is non-refundable. Course fees may be paid by cash, check or money-order. (Note: Because Matlin Studio accepts Visa/MC, we will also be offering a 10% discount for anyone paying full tuition up front with a credit card - No refunds once class session has begun)
