Matana Roberts presents two chapters from her in progress blood narrative Coin Coin. The 9:00 set will be Chapter 2-- Mississippi Moonchile-- that pays homage to her Canton Mississippi roots and the 10:30 set will be Gens de Couleur Libre the first chapter of her narrative that pays homage to her Natchitoches Louisianan roots. Coin Coin-- in essence a monument to the human experience.
