In 1979, The Corning Museum of Glass introduced to the American public the work of the Czech artist, František Vízner. Nearly 30 years later, Vízner, now an internationally acclaimed artist, is presented in Corning as a studio glass master. This exhibition shows a range of Vízner’s work in cast glass. His luminous and colorful vessel forms occupy the shifting boundary between function and non-function. Included in Museum admission. Adult admission is $12.50; kids and teens, 19 and under, free.
