Light is the language of photography. Understanding when and how to light when working on location is essential to creating images with style and impact.
This workshop is for intermediate and advanced photographers who want to improve their lighting style and technique through the use of wireless compact flash units. Photographing in real life situations or when traveling can be easy if you know how to light. Today's portable wireless flash units are a convenient and cost effective method for using multiple flash units on location.
Lectures and demonstrations focus on topics like using the different flash modes, using light modifiers to shape, soften and control light, and using colored gels for effect. Participants will also learn how to use the strobe for a high key light effect, or blend the strobe with the ambient light for a more natural look.
In a variety of challenging lighting situations you will learn how to use an on camera flash as a fill light, as the main source of light and use wireless multi strobe set-ups to light interiors, portraits and environmental portraits. This workshop will teach you how to master your strobe in the most challenging light situations.
