"Masterful, marvelous and memorable" Resident Artists in Recital - Trio Navarro November 14, 2010

One of Russia's most inexplicably neglected composers, Gyorgy Catoire is regarded as the father of Russian modernism. Trio Navarro opens its 16th season with Catoire's captivating Piano Trio in F Minor. Also on the program - Piano Trio by Barcelonan cellist Gaspar Cassadó and Franz Schubert's sublime Nottorno. Trio Navarro is comprised of Roy Malan, violin, Jill Rachuy Brindel, cello and Marilyn Thompson, piano.
