International Perspectives on Participatory Development & Governance
In a rapidly changing world, local and global communities are faced with enormous challenges in addressing issues of poverty, violence, climate change and exclusion.
The MA in Community Development (International) programme is designed to enable those contributing to or working in community development to pursue their qualifications while addressing these challenges.
This two-year professional programme is jointly designed and delivered by academics and practitioners:
University of Victoria (Canada) faculty, recognised for excellence in research, teaching and civic engagement
PRIA (India) practitioners, with three decades of experience in participatory development and democratic governance
Tuition Fee: CA$ 22,000
Duration: 2 Years starting May 2011

The MA Community Development (International) programme will equip you to apply theory to practice and strengthen your understanding of community empowerment and catalysing change.
This unique programme will primarily be delivered online with two face-to-face residency sessions in New Delhi, India.
