Master Builder Academy for Advanced LEGO Builders September 11, 2011

Want to take your building to the next level? LEGOLAND Discovery Center Chicago invites you to participate in the Master Builder Academy! During the last three Sundays in September, you can learn to build like the pros with advanced tips and techniques from LEGOLAND Discovery Center Chicago’s very own Master Model Builder, Daniel Morey, a featured expert in the Master Builder Academy book. Guests will also be able to participate in a Question and Answer session with Daniel and have their Master Builder Academy books signed by him.

The workshop is open to children, ages 7 to 13, who can successfully build model sets of 200 LEGO bricks or more. Advanced registration for the event is required, and space is limited. To reserve your spot, call 847-592-9708. Reservations must be made at least five days prior to date of class.

Admission to LEGOLAND Discovery Center Chicago is included in the price of the Master Builder Academy kit. The kit costs $29.99 +tax and includes an 84-page Designer Handbook, 178 LEGO pieces, an exclusive LEGO Master Builder Academy Minifigure, a brick separator and a brick storage box with sorting tray. Kits that include admission to the workshop must be purchased at LEGOLAND Discovery Center Chicago while supplies last.

*Children must be accompanied by an adult (who will also receive a complimentary admission ticket). A Master Builder Academy kit must be purchased for each child participating in the event. Accompanying children not participating in Master Builder Academy will have access to the Center’s other activities with general admission.
