Masonville Cove Environmental Education Center Opening and Rainbarrel Workshop April 24, 2009

Shuttle service will be provided today to the MCEEC's opening from the Brooklyn Main Street Market at the Brooklyn Park-and-Ride.

The first ten participants to arrive and sign up for the 3pm workshop will be able to take home their own handmade rainbarrel, free of charge. Rainbarrels costs vary around the $100 mark if you buy it already made. We've bought the parts and the tools so you can assemble and decorate your own rainbarrel to take home for free! Even if you're not one of the lucky ten to take one home this day, you can learn how easy it is to do it yourself on your own! Participants can sign up on a waiting list to make their own free rainbarrel at our next Rainbarrel Workshop (coming June 09).
