Avi Bryant and I (Leslie Wu) would like to invite you to a small, informal gathering of "mashup enablers" to be held at Web2Open (inside of the Web 2.0 Expo), three weeks from now at Moscone West.
Tim Bray calls it "contribution culture", I like the phrase "recombinant web", but whatever we name the trend or the technology, developers and designers building mashups are going to need all the help they can get.
We'd like to bring together six to eight mashup enablers and spark some discussion, debate, and encourage the sharing of ideas.
Here are the folks we've sent invites to:
Aaron Boodman (Chief Monkey)
Tim Bray (Sun)
Avi Bryant (DabbleDB)
Peter Cohen (Amazon Web Services)
Mark Finkle (Mozilla)
Ely Greenfield (Adobe Flex)
Paul Rademacher (HousingMaps)
Jonathan Trevor (Yahoo! Pipes)
Chris Wilson (Internet Explorer)
Leslie Wu (the organizer, CS PhD at Stanford)
(I don't know any folks at Teqlo. Suggestions?)
I hope you all can come!
