Transformations is the adult re-telling of the Brothers Grimm fairy tales based on the poems of Pulitzer Prize-winning author Anne Sexton. A series of psychological vignettes, each with its own moral, this two-act chamber opera incorporates influences from popular music as it weaves a tale of an aging witch and her slow descent into madness. Transformations is set in a fabled 1970s nightclub and will be performed in English.
