Marvin Saltzman: Places, Paintings and Drawings March 16, 2007

Marvin Saltzman's paintings are abstracted works that are usually done as a series. Since 1954, Saltzman has not used blacks or browns in his compositions, rather he applies various shades of greens, blues, and reds in order to create works that display characteristics of post-Impressionism. This exhibit will highlight both paintings and drawings from various series that Saltzman has created since the 1990's.
